This award celebrates the creativity, ingenuity, and technical skill of the first scientists by honoring Indigenous students from North American tribes and the Pacific Islands. It recognizes projects that answer urgent questions or address real-world challenges faced by Indigenous communities, while carrying forward the deep tradition of science and engineering practiced by Native peoples.
Eligibility: To be considered for the 2026 AISES Indigenous Ingenuity Award, your project must have been entered in the 2025 National American Indian Science and Engineering Fair (NAISEF) or 2025 AISES National Conference Poster Competition.
Prize: A $500 award to continue developing their project or STEM learning. Up to two awards will be given.

The Broadcom Foundation believes that STEM is not just about discovery—it’s about making life better for people and the planet.
The award’s purpose is to:
Educate: Show how STEM knowledge and innovation can protect, preserve, save, improve, or promote quality of life and nature.
Advocate: Recognize coding as both a language and a design tool that all young people can use to expand their educational opportunities, career pathways, and life choices.
Inspire: Empower students to “act locally and think globally” through their STEM ideas and impact.
Prize: A $500 award to continue developing their project or STEM learning.

The Carolina® Science Young Innovators Award honors exceptional students in grades 7–12 who demonstrate excellence in the life sciences, with a focus on health sciences including genetics, DNA, and biomedical research. This award celebrates students who apply innovation, curiosity, and original thinking to real-world health challenges, showcasing how science can improve human health and quality of life.
Prize: A $500 award to continue developing their project or STEM learning.

Supported by the Founder’s Fund, this award celebrates a student with the potential to become a youth ambassador for STEM learning. Selected by the 2025 cohort of National STEM Champions, the recipient exemplifies leadership, creativity, and a passion for using STEM to make a positive impact on the world.
Prize: $500 to further develop their project or advance their STEM learning.

This award recognizes projects that tackle real-world challenges—spanning mission design, space systems, propulsion, communications, and Earth-observation applications—with creativity, rigor, and impact.
Eligibility: To be considered for the 2026 Women in Aerospace Access Award, your project must be entered in the 2026 National STEM Festival (U.S. Edition) under the Aerospace Innovation theme.
Prize: $2,500 travel and accommodation grant to present at the National STEM Festival and a $500 award to continue developing their project or STEM learning.
