What is the National STEM Festival™?

The National STEM Festival™ is a global program powered by EXPLR. It spotlights teen innovators, connects them with industry mentors and brand partners, and opens clear pathways to in-demand careers.

Who can participate?

Students ages 13–19. Eligibility, timelines, and themes vary by region—check your local page via Find a Festival.

How much does it cost?

There’s no fee to submit a project. Donations and philanthropic support fund student access at no cost— including travel and accommodations for Champions—and free Office Hours for learners everywhere.

What is the Festival experience like?

Expect mentor sessions, hands-on activations, main-stage moments, and networking with leaders across STEM industries. Region-specific schedules and requirements are posted on local Festival pages—see Find a Festival.

How does the Festival connect to brands and the future workforce?

We partner with leading companies and organizations to mentor students, spotlight real-world problem-solving, and map skills to high-growth careers (AI, advanced manufacturing, health, and more).

Can I speak at the Festival or host a session?
