Up to 40 National STEM Champions will be chosen for London 2027 — each receiving a funded trip to present their project, meet industry leaders, and take part in exclusive Festival experiences. Applications are open now and close 22 November 2026.

Getting Champions to London.
Talent is everywhere. Travel money isn’t. Every selected National STEM Champion receives a funded trip to London, with travel and Festival hotel accommodation arranged or approved by EXPLR as part of the Champion package, worth up to £2,000. Champions under 18 must attend with one parent or legal guardian; specified travel and hotel accommodation for that accompanying adult are included. No Champion misses the Festival because of cost.
